This course introduces the fundamental principles and theory behind animation. Students will explore the history and evolution of animation, from traditional hand-drawn techniques to contemporary digital methods. Emphasis will be placed on understanding animation principles such as timing, movement, and storytelling. The course will also explore the various styles and genres of animation, focusing on how these principles are applied in both 2D and 3D formats. Students will develop a solid theoretical foundation and an appreciation for the artistic and technical processes that drive animation production.
