Psychological Services

At AUM, we prioritize student wellbeing, recognizing its vital role in academic success. That is why we offer supportive counseling sessions to help our students thrive both personally and academically. Many students arrive on campus eager to embrace new experiences, and some may face challenges along the way, including those affecting their mental health.

Our psychologist helps the students dealing with complexities of student life and offers an open, safe, and confidential environment to overcome issues that may interfere with their development, well-being, and academic productivity.

About the Service:

Our counseling service is completely free and accessible online or on campus, ensuring that support is readily available to all students. We prioritize confidentiality, guaranteeing that your privacy is respected and protected throughout the counseling process. Whether you are seeking guidance for personal challenges or mental health concerns, our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

We urge students to seek help when:

  • Worrying more than usual.
  • Finding it hard to enjoy your life or feeling lonely.
  • Having low mood or feeling depressed.
  • Having thoughts and feelings that are difficult to cope with.
  • Suffering from substance abuse.
  • Having family or relationship issues.
  • Having study problems which affect your performance like lack of concentration or procrastination.
  • Experiencing sleep disturbance.
  • Interested to find more support or treatment.
  • \We work with our students to explore more effective ways of managing the difficulties they may be experiencing
