MEET AYA ABU ZAID:

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba (AUM) in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratories. I am a proud alumnus of AUM, where I received a top-notch education that has enabled me to have a successful career. I can say that my hard work and dedication paid off when I started as a Cus- tomer Success Officer at a Healthtech company and was promoted to a Customer Success Specialist within a year. My education at AUM has provided me with a solid foundation in my field and helped me to develop important soft skills that have been crucial to my journey. I am grateful for the guidance and support of my professors, who played a major role in shaping my personality and helping me to become the confident and capable individual I am today. I am thankful for the opportunities that the American University of Madaba has provided me, and will always cherish my time there.

MEET AYA AL-HROUT

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. I joined Jordan Youth Innovation Forum a national NGO in December 2020, I currently work as a Program Director, designing and managing projects that contribute to empowering youth in Jordan and increasing their social engagement, providing them with the needed support, knowledge, and guidance to initiate their entrepreneurial ideas or lead their community initiatives. AUM has not only provided me with education but also an ongoing learning mindset, as I have gained great life skills during completing my bachelor's degree. My experiences at AUM helped me to continue my education and pursue a master's degree in Strategic Human Resources Management from the University of Huddersfield, UK in 2019, inspired by my amazing professors at AUM. Besides academic success, some of my fondest memories are the time spent with friends and involvement in AUM events and activates.

MEET DANA ZOQASH

 

 

I graduated from The American University of Madaba (AUM) in 2015 "first batch", with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the Faculty of Architecture and Design. After graduating, I worked as a television producer at Amman TV. I would like to thank AUM for the wonderful time. Time went so fast and the years felt like days. Many precious memories were created there. Moreover, I want to thank each instructor and employee that helped me during my journey at AUM, those who assisted me in find- ing my passion in life, I appreciate how approachable they were. We learned important skills that helped us academically and personally, how to be ethical and give back to society, and how to create a positive change in the world around us. MEET DIAA SAABNAH

 

 

My Journey as an accounting students started at AUM in 2018, it culminated with my graduation in 2022, where I ranked first on the Accounting class for that cohort. AUM has helped me gain the knowledge, skills and the experience to have wonderful career prospects.

Beyond my degree, I've dedicated myself to continuous learning and professional development, ob- taining certificates in financial reporting, certified risk and crisis management, as well as becoming a Governance Risk Compliance Specialist and Auditor.

My passion for financial expertise and risk management led me to a pivotal role in Deloitte's es- teemed Risk Advisory Department, where I contribute my knowledge and skills to address multifac- eted financial and operational challenges.

MEET MIRNA EL-DIER

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. My career was initiated with Soura Madani House of Design as an Intern. Afterwards, I joined University of Petra as a Researcher and teaching assistant. Meanwhile, I decided to seek a higher education degree in Interior Architectural Design from Al Ahliyya Amman University. My educational journey at AUM was full of knowledge, which has set the foundation for career development. AUM prepared me well for my profession by building different skills, such as communication skills, creativity, problem solving, and project manage- ment. Thank you AUM for giving me the character I need to keep moving forward, the mind set to keep expanding, and also; for facilitating a positive learning environment!

Meet Yacoub Al Hourani

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Labo-ratories. AUM has helped me gain the knowledge, skills and the experience to have wonderful career prospects. I started working in Biolab during the COVID-19 pandemic which gave me a chance to work hard and gain sufficient experience to be a supervisor during that time. I was able to withstand the heavy workload during the pandemic thanks to the extensive training and skills I gained while being a student at AUM. Now, I am a senior master's degree student in Medical Laboratory Science currently working on my thesis and it's going smoothly. Special thanks to AUM's professors for their continuous guidance and extensive support while being a student.

MEET DALAL JABER

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2019, with a Bachelor Degree in Translation, where I ranked second in my cohort. My career took its first step immediately after graduation, as I worked with Luminus Technical University College in collaboration with UNICEF as Project Facilitator. My education at AUM was a key to opening the doors to gain creative knowledge, experiences, analytical skills and consis-tency. This enabled me to enhance my performance, as I was responsible for preparing reports on a daily basis for UNICEF projects officials. Currently I am in Dubai, working for the Emirates Group, the world's largest airline, where I was selected out of 40 candidates from Amman-Jordan. In this current role, I deal with over 170 nationalities from all over the world. AUM provided me with a great balance of academic and extracurricular skills. Additionally I was awarded an appreciation certificate "Najm Appreciation" for the true essence of resilience under unique circumstances. I am truly proud of being a part of AUM Alumni.

MEET MOHAMMAD HIJAWE

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba (AUM) in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Risk Management. My career took its first steps as a trainee in the Ministry of Labor in 2019, where I nurtured my skills and gained valuable insights around the business field in Jordan. Today, I proudly serve as the Lo- gistics and Operations Manager of Hyjawe Pharma Group, a company situated in the Middle East that stands as the exclusive distributor of world leading aesthetic and pharmaceutical products. I am also cur- rently pursuing my MBA degree. AUM's strength in academics and wide variety of extra-curricular activi- ties has certainly laid a strong foundation for my journey, and I believe that I owe a lot of my success back to AUM. All the support from my professors has been acknowledged and was very beneficial, and I am excited to continue making meaningful contributions to my field.

MEET REEM IBRAHIM

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba (AUM) with a Bsc. in Civil and Environmental Engi- neering. AUM provided me with real world learning opportunities, where I benefited from different international scholarship during my studies at AUM, such as Indiana University-Kelly School of Business with the Global Business Institute, where I was selected out of 100 outstanding students from around the world. In addition to joining one of Erasmus+ program scholarships at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University (Lasi, Romania). These opportunities helped me gain more field experience, become more versatile, build confidence and prepare for the multi-faceted responsibilities that are needed in the workplace. I also pursued a master's degree in intelligent transportation systems and was hired as a BOQ engineer by a well-known engineering company at the same time. Thank you AUM.

MEET ISSA HELAL

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. My academic journey began when I enrolled at AUM and received a scholarship covering 100% of my tuition fees. Following my graduation, I received a full fee waiver to pursue my master's degree at "Aarhus University" in Den- mark, a top-ranking institution worldwide. Throughout my master's studies, I served as a research assistant at the university. Just two months ago, I successfully completed my Msc. in Mechanical Engineering, presenting a master's thesis entitled "Incorporating Symmetries into the Sparse Identification of Nonlinear Dynamics for Fluid Systems." Currently, I am gearing up to embark on my doctoral studies. My time at AUM allowed me to develop and refine numerous skills that have played a pivotal role in my academic journey. It has been a privilege to learn from and collaborate with dedicated professors, lecturers, staff, and friends along the way.

MEET ISSA FAKHOURI

 

 

I graduated from The American University of Madaba in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management. As soon as I graduated I got a scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education in Jordan to pursue masters' studies in Hungary. As an AUM graduate I had a great pool of opportunities in the workplace, and that's how I got my job in Saudi Arabia. AUM provided me with the best learning experience and such an amazing study environment that helped me rise and grow. Special thanks to AUM's professors for their continuous guidance and extensive support while being a student.

MEET ABDULLAH AL-ABSI

 

 

"I graduated from AUM in 2016 completing my Bachelor's degree in Accounting with honors. AUM had a huge influence in developing my skills and my passion for Accounting. After graduat- ing, I started my career at Deloitte & Touché and reached an Assistant Manager position after years of hard work. After learning how companies are growing and developing, opening my own company was a goal and that is when me and Marwan decided to work on a new business model in Jordan, Kitchify. And as CFO & Co-Founder of Kitchefy, I am taking a leap to growing the company with a vision to reach a unicorn status."

MEET AHMAD ABU EISA

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. As an outcome, I was immediately recruited to work for a reputed company in Jordan as "Technical Sales Engi- neer". After two years, I travelled abroad to explore my options. Now I am an "International Supply Chain Consultant" providing consulting services to companies in Hungary, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, related to supply and demand management, sustainable sourcing, logistics and much more. I have also obtained a Master's degree in Logistics Engineering, Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management in 2021 from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. AUM helped in building different skills set, starting from presentation skills, critical thinking, problem solving, interacting within a group, brainstorming, storytelling, and even language skills. I am thankful for the learning experience and the people I met during my Journey at AUM.

Meet Anas Al Tabarani

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Financial Sciences. Shortly after graduating, I was offered a full-time job at Deloitte/ Qatar in their Risk Advisory Practice. Part of my tasks included internal audit, compliance, and governance reviews. I also had the opportunity to offer my services as a risk advisor to government clients including ministries and authorities. I got the chance to work with FIFA and the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy which was the body responsible to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, after which I received a certificate of appreciation signed and acknowledged by the Amir of Qatar personally. I believe that the experience and exposure received at AUM helped me to excel in my current career path and overcome all the obstacles I faced on the way!

MEET EZZELDIN ALARAJ

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance and I went back to my home country, Iraq. A few months after that, I started my career at the Central Bank of Iraq, as I'm an Assistant Manager in the Oil Section at the Investment & Foreign Remittances Department. My career journey has given me a chance to practice the academic, technical & communicative skills I have ac- quired during my years at AUM. I have gained knowledge that falls beyond academics through studying at AUM. Our esteemed instructors delivered a combination of theoretical and real-world practices derived from their experiences, which allowed us to elevate our careers and promote us to managerial positions at an early stage. Now, while pursuing a postgraduate degree MSc. In Banking and International Finance, at University of Leicester, United Kingdom, I can't avoid nostalgia as I recall memories at AUM.

Meet Faisal Salaitah

 

 

"In 2019, I received my BA in Interior Design from AUM. Since then, I have published 2 books entitled "60 Life Minutes" and "In the Middle of Chaos". I am currently preparing my third book, a novel entitled "A Time Distance". Moreover, I am preparing a book that contains basic elements of arts and interior design to target children, to form a cognitive root for arts other than drawing and fun. I am now one of the youngest members of the Jordanian Writers Union. I write weekly articles for Ammon News and other news sites for more than 40 published articles."

Meet Fuad Haddad

 

 

"I graduated from AUM in 2021 with a BA in marketing, during my last semester I landed a full-time job at a start-up company, changing the real estate industry, merging it with technology. As a marketing officer, I was able to manage, and with the support of my professors, they taught me that marketing is an ever-changing field, and that I have to adapt to the changes and demands in the market quickly. Within one year I am now a certified digital marketeer with a new position as a conversion rate optimizer leading performance marketing at Konn Technologies."

MEET GHAZAL FAKHOURY

 

 

"I graduated from the American University of Madaba (AUM), in June 2022 with a bachelor degree in Human Resources Management (HRM). I am the first alumna to graduate from AUM in this major. My journey at AUM helped me develop my skills and knowledge in the field of HRM; it has opened for me many job opportunities since it's considered one of the first universities in Jordan to offer HRM major. Now, and after less than 2 months of graduating I started working with a recruiting company as a junior recruiting consultant. AUM has helped me realize my dreams and achieve my goals so far. I am proud to be an AUM alumni."

MEET THE LAYAN OF NIMER

 

 

"During my last year at AUM as a Business Administration student, I competed at the Hult Prize Entrepreneurial competition. Since then, I have embarked on a journey of establishing a social-green startup that tackles the food waste issue in Jordan under the name Plait Bakery. I have participated in the Fabrakat-Food Design program, organized by Namliyeh in Partnership with the Goethe Institute from around 70+ applicants worldwide. Moreover, I am currently among 30 members of Wathba Program by Arcan-Amam Ventures, for women-led entrepreneurs. Thank you, AUM for being the first adventure in my journey."

MEET MARWAN ABU SAKEH

 

 

"I graduated from AUM in 2019 completing my Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. I have learned a lot at AUM, especially critical thinking and problem solving. I finished my studies and worked in several fields. And I found myself establishing the Jordanian Entrepreneurs Club (JEC) and Impact Hub and joining other startup companies in Jordan. My passion grew since then, be- coming like a wakeup call to establish my own start up company, Kitchefy. Where I am now the CEO of the company and Co-Founder along with Abdullah."

Meet Mohammed Obada Dobian

 

 

I graduated from AUM in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Since my graduation I have focused my ef- forts and experiences in the field of humanitarian work. I have combined my scientific expertise in the pharmaceutical field with my passion for the humanitarian field. I am currently working as office manager for Souriyat Across Borders for Jordan office. Additionally, being a part of student panel helped me to improve my manage- ment skills, now I'm the focal point in charge of Y-PEER Jordan, a youth network that aims to raise awareness of youth health mainly in the field of sexual and reproductive health as well as gender-based violence. I'm also a member of the community-based rehabilitation team for people with disability at the King Hussein Founda- tion-Institute of Family Health. My experience at AUM has helped me sharpen my skills in my field, and to be a co-founder of a pioneering business of building the first comprehensive application for all mental health ser- vices. Briefly because of what I learnt at AUM I'm a Pharmacist, Trainer, and Human Rights activist.

"I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2020 with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. My studies at AUM enabled me to pursue a career as a "full stack developer". AUM had a big impact in developing my skills and knowledge, and now I'm in PWC Berlin Germany as a "Senior Full stack developer". AUM gave me a great opportunity to learn great things that helped me to succeed in PWC. Being an "AUMer" makes me feel proud. I am very grateful to my professors for providing guide- lines and motivation to inspire me to achieve my goals. I will always be thankful to AUM for making me a person I am today."

Meet Razan Kaddoura

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba (AUM) in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences. Directly after graduating, I decided to pursue a higher education degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences. During this ride, I had the chance to utilize the skills I acquired during my AUM journey, which included project and research management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and team- work. This provided me with a stable foundation to build upon and improve the knowledge and skills required for the workforce. The teaching faculty at AUM encouraged us to think outside the box, to figure out solutions to problems or obstacles we were facing. Therefore I am very grateful for all my professors for the support and guidance they provided us. I am so proud and honored to be an AUM Alumna!

"On 17th of July 2017,1 graduated from AUM with a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy. One month later, I started work as a medical sales representative at Pfizer. Currently I hold the position of Senior Medical Representative at AstraZeneca. Throughout my years at AUM, I have admired the way we worked on projects for each subject and the discussions we had while doing presentations in front of the class. Which had a great positive impact not only on our research skills, but also on our communication and presentation skills."

Meet Shatha Al-Jawhari

 

 

"I graduated from AUM in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratories. Throughout my time at AUM, the professors of the Medical Laboratories department have helped me gain the intellectual knowledge and research expertise that have served me though the beginning of my career. I am currently working at Biolabs with their COVID-19 team, and I consider this a milestone that has helped me gather practical experience and improve my social intelligence and patient treatment. I'm further grateful for the help of my professors for their part in making AUM graduates eligible to sit for the American Medical Technologists Certification Exam."

"I graduated with a B.A in Marketing from the American University of Madaba (AUM) in 2016. Back then I took the chance to explore my skills and see where my career would take me. I ended up working in various fields such as culinary & hospitality. Which made me seek a Diploma from the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts in Jordan. Thereafter, I was always curious about the gaming industry, so I was aspiring to become a gaming entrepreneur. As I am a big believer in learning new things so I can fulfill my goals. I am now a Product Manager at Chickmania Entertainment Gaming Studios. I'm also a Podcaster & Content Creator at Podqasti MENA."

MEET TALA DARWEESH

 

 

I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2017, with a Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management. My career path began with joining Ernest and Young, in the External Audit and Assurance Department, for two years. Afterwards, I joined Samsung Electronics Levant Headquarters in Jordan; recently I have been promoted to Assistant Manager in the Finance Department. AUM provided me with a great balance of academics and extracurricular activities; this enabled me to be awarded the "employee of the month" award several times. My Risk Management background has helped me attempt bigger tasks at my job. During my time at Samsung Levant, I acquired the certificate of "Essential Skills for Performance Excellence". Being a part of AUM, I felt blessed. AUM has molded my personality and illuminated my vision of the future.

"I have graduated from The American University of Madaba (AUM), in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with merits. After that I went on to attain a Master's Degree in Environmental and Renewable Energy Engineering, and now I work with well-known sustainability consulting firm in the Middle East. I am deeply grateful for the time I have spent at AUM, and I believe that the way the curricu- lum is built aids you in acquiring several skills that are extremely valued in the workplace, such as public speaking, good research abilities, and how to network. Moreover, having instructors who had real-world experience in the courses they were teaching was one of the things that helped me the most, to learn about how my chosen career worked in real life."

"I graduated from the American University of Madaba as a Mechanical Engineer in 2020. I started my career path in Business Outsourcing BPO & I am currently working as a Content Moderator Advisor at Webhelp Jordan L.L.C. My experience at AUM has enriched my communication & an- alytical skills through intensive & subjective projects in every course syllabus. Consequently, I managed to launch my career in the world of business even though it is not my area of specializa- tion. "I graduated from the American University of Madaba (AUM) in June 2016, with a bachelor degree in Computer Science (CS). AUM has helped me gain the knowledge skills, and experience to have great career prospects. Gaining a broad and in-depth education in CS was key to having the currently needed employability skills. Thanks to my education at AUM, I was able to secure a job as a Support Engineer at Microsoft, the largest software company in the world. At Microsoft, I get to be the primary technical contact for enterprises in Europe, the Middle East and Africa customers."

Meet  ZEID ABU SAAD

 

 

"I graduated from the American University of Madaba (AUM) in 2019 with a B.Sc. in Biology and Bio- technology. My passion for photography made me work as a photographer during my 2nd year. There- fore, I have always enjoyed holding the camera. I began by attending online courses to acquire new skills, with the knowledge I gained, I became a professional. In addition, I have developed my ability to celebrate life through my camera lens. I am currently a freelanced photographer with 7 years of experience and have several projects in Jordan and Iraq, including restaurants and merchandise. My time at AUM helped me gain many personal skills, which positively influenced achieving my dream in photography."

MEET Mais samakeh

 

 

"I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2019 with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. My studies at AUM enabled me to be successful in my field, as I managed to es- tablish my private clinic in Jordan. Subsequently, I was fortunate enough to open another clinic in Iraq. Moreover, I have expanded my work to the field of supplements and I now own a warehouse in Iraq. I owe my success to AUM, it made me excel in my work thanks to the education I received back when I was a student. My professors have shed crucial light on the practicalities of our field and I believe that this has paved my way to rapid success."

MEET RANA KHLAIFAT

 

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Madaba, Class of 2016. I then travelled to the United Kingdom where I did my Master's Degree at the University of Chester, Faculty of Health and Social Care, England. I am currently running my own private business, which is a clinic at Al-Saudi clinics in Khalda. Moreover, I am also a registered nutritionist in England.

I graduated from the American University of Madaba in 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Biotechnology. Today, I am a Science and Chemistry teacher at College De La Salle Amman for the international program. AUM has helped me improving many skills such as presentation skills, leadership, research and public speaking skills. Thank you AUM for changing my life, improving my personality, making my university journey a memorable one, and for teaching me everything I needed so far and anything I will need in the future.

"I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the American University of Madaba (AUM) in 2019. Studying at AUM provided me with the needed skills and knowledge to have a solid base to start my career. Furthermore, the diversity of the scientific backgrounds of AUM profes- sors enhanced my self-growth in many ways, in addition to expanding my viewpoint towards different fields. My career has witnessed gradual improvement, in July 2020, I started my career as Technical Sup- port Advisor with Webhelp L.L.C. then became a Recruiter Assistant, afterwards an HR and Recruit- ment officer.
