This course introduces students to screenwriting fundamentals, emphasizing story structure, character creation, conflict generation, and dialogue writing. Students learn to identify cinematic ideas, pitch proposals, and provide constructive feedback. Additionally, the course covers storyboard and animatic creation, teaching skills from basic visualizations to advanced directing techniques such as action blocking, camera work, lighting, sound design, and editing. Using advanced technology, students produce professional digital storyboards and animatics, preparing them for industry standards.
