This course equips students with fundamental acting tools for working with text and explores the rehearsal process under a director's guidance. Students analyze scripts, develop authentic characters, and prepare scenes for peer presentations and camera work, in collaboration with the "Intro to Camera" course. By examining iconic film scenes, auditioning, and shooting a short film, they deepen their understanding of the dynamic between directors, actors, and crew members.
