This theoretical course undertakes contemporary and emerging topics in visual communication in the digital era. It aims to educate the students about the visual reception, perception, and comprehension of information in the context of the sociocultural shifts in modern societies, in addition to giving them an opportunity to critically analyze emerging phenomena in the digital space. The course will include seminars, presentations, readings, and analysis. Research and group discussions will be an integral part of this course.
