This course introduces the principles of management information systems. This MIS course provides students with the educational background to the technologies of information systems and to the development of large-scale information systems. This course shows how essential information systems are today. Today, retail stores are stressed to stay alive and relevant as more customers shift to online shopping and the Internet. One solution is to use leading-edge advanced information technology to deliver new ways of drawing purchasers into physical stores and creating the in-store buying experience more pleasant, safe, and efficient. Please note that the material presented in this course takes a management approach rather than a technical approach.
