The course deals with the most important toxic plants, their existence, the toxic symptoms, antidotes and drugs to treat intoxication. The course will include: characteristics of important poisonous plants, the life history strategies and growth stages of each plant, toxins found in each plant and symptoms of poisoning in humans and livestock.
