This course covers the basic principles of immunology and their relation to diseases and therapy. The course also discusses different types of vaccines, and their mechanisms of action. The course will include: antigenic specificity, chemistry of antibodies and their interactions with antigens and cells, regulation of the immune response, transplantation and tumor immunology.
