In this course the student becomes competent in understanding and explaining the right use of the drugs that will be discussed, in addition to any practically important points related to the drug such as adverse effects and the ways to avoid them. The course will include: pharmacology of drugs acting on the central nervous system (CNS), the autonomic nervous system (ANS), opioids, local anesthetics, autacoids and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. |
