This training course offers instructions and practice of laboratory procedures in an appropriate hospital laboratory. It covers chemical and microscopic examination of body fluids. Moreover, the students will be orientated and guided to different microscopy techniques and will perform techniques in fixation and preservation of specimens, staining and sectioning, construction and use of the microtome, and the preparation of histological slides. It is a real hands-on application of the materials learned in the analysis of body fluids and histological techniques courses. |
