| This course covers the theoretical and practical application of clinical duties of the Medical Technologist working in a Hematology, Body Fluids, Clinical Chemistry, Serology, Immunohematology and Diagnostic Microbiology laboratory department. It also covers laboratory orientation, procedures, techniques and an introduction to the clinical laboratory instrumentation. The course also focuses on Laboratory Safety, Infection Control and introduces Biosafety and Biosecurity. |
